Elena works as a locum Psychologist in CAMHS and also in private practice.

She helps children, adolescents and young adults. Her work entails a wide range of issues from anxiety and depression to more complex presentations such as diagnosis of ADHD, ASD & OCD.

Elena’s approach is eclectic and incorporates interventions from Cognitive Behavioural approach (CBT), systemic approach and techniques from positive & coaching psychology. Her work often involves family work, and liaison with other agencies such as schools. Some of the areas that interest me are autism & autistic spectrum disorders, anxiety and depression, low self-esteem and confidence, loss of meaning and direction in life and relationship problems.

Elena values and supports the personal growth of her clients and facilitate a nurturing environment for the development of their skills.

She is committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Counselling Psychology and abides by the code of Ethics and conduct of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Standards of the Health Professions Council (HPC).
