She practices in an integrative way, drawing from a number of therapeutic approaches depending on individual needs and goals including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and systemic approaches. However, she predominantly draws on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, helping people relate their experiences differently and move towards a better quality of life.
Her areas of particular interest and experience include anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), depression and low self-esteem.
Alongside her private work, Becky works in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
